Wrangler Kennels is a family run business. My wife, Crystal and I have a lot in common including hunting, fishing, dogs, horses and mostly good old fashion family beliefs. I am so lucky to have such a beautiful understanding wife and she is also my best friend. Get this guys, she even lets me hang all my wildlife mounts throughout our house.
In 2006 we were blessed with the birth of our beautiful daughter, Brooke McKenzie. She is definitely the light in Daddy's eyes. I call her my assistant trainer because she loves to be outside with me feeding and working dogs. Our son Justin Lane-Robert "Little Man" was born in 2009. Justin is crazy about bird dogs and horses just like his ole man. I have included some additional pictures below as the kids continue to grow. Both my wife and I were raised around dogs and horses and we plan to do the same with our children. We plan to expose them to the outdoors and teach them the responsibilities and joys that hunting and owning animals can bring.
I myself have been raising, training and breeding bird dogs for over 30 years now. All our dogs are socialized at an early age and both our young children can be found along side any of our dogs. I don't worry about them because our dogs have gentle demeanors and we take the time to teach our dogs mannerisms around people and other dogs as well.
We have acquired a great proven line of English Pointers and GSP's here at Wrangler Kennels. Wrangler Kennels strives to produce hard driving dogs that are biddable with good handles. We produce bloodlines that have natural retrieving and backing abilities with extraordinary style and class in the field. Our dogs are best known for their great noses. Our dogs have to produce birds in this dry desert climate so NOSE has to be the focus. We breed gundogs for the serious upland bird hunter or for the foot trialer looking for champion bred pedigrees in their dogs.
