Dean and Riki Foust of Farmington, NM, |
We just wanted to give you an update on our Jake. We took him on his first pheasant hunt in Utah this last weekend and he did great! What is amazing is that Jake does not come from a hunting line (actually he comes from a back yard AKC breeder) and he has done amazing since spending time training with Markus last year. We couldn't be happier with him and are so thankful for Markus' hard work and dedication to these dogs! Thanks again, and we will keep you updated. |

Markus, thanks for the great pup from the Dillon & Charlie litter 2013. At 8 weeks old he's not afraid of anything including thunder & lighting. He loves to chase stray cats in the backyard. I can tell he's going to be a great hunting & fishing buddy in the future. Great Job Markus. |

Markus, we would like to thank you for all the great work you have done with Jake. we took Jake on his first preserve hunt for quail last week. Jake gave us eighteen rock solid points on fifteen birds. He hunted hard for the entire time we were out and had a wonderfull day retrieving. Riki and I could not be more proud of him and greatful for all the time you spent with him.We have a hunt scheduled for the end of March in central CO for chuckers and will let you know how it goes. We feel very lucky to have found a trainer of your caliber and are proud to call you our friend. Thanks again!!!! |

Markus, this pup is tough! Go's through anything, thistles, thorns, rose bush, it doesnt matter, he is on a mission. Stuck a nice point on three grouse today, we are in about 2 feet of snow here. Handles like a dream, has no quit in him, and has a great nose. Hands down the best pup i have owned to date. Thanks. |

Markus, I wanted to get you a quick update on Sage (from Gunner and Copper, April 2011). I took her out to NV to chuckar hunt, up to NC for quail and multiple quail hunts in SC this year and she has been nothing short of phenomenal! Her ability to work unfamiliar terrain in northern Nevada and point adult birds in very tough terrain demonstrated her amazing desire and instinct. Up in NC, she had some "slam on the brakes" points that make us all smile....she continues to get better everyday, so I can't thank you enough for helping us out...I look forward to getting her a partner (of course from you).... Best, Jeff |

Jake has been back with Markus for his Gun dog training for the last two months, and everything is going great!! He sends us pictures, updates, and fills us in on how our boy is doing. Jake stayed with Markus for a few months during puppy classes, and so we were confident in returning Jake for further training. We look forward to getting him home next month, and thank Markus for the amazing work he does with his dogs |
