Markus< just wanted to thank you for your professional service and this new pup (Gunnar x Jojo) I recieved from your kennel. Out of all the dogs I have owned in the past this pup has been the most outgoing and non destructive. He does not spook at anything, naturally runs to the front, has great style, and he looks like he has a heck of a nose on him. I also wanted to thank you for setting up transport with Gundog Express, they were excellent and showed up at the border exactly when they said they would. I will send some pics as the pup progresses. Very impressed! |

Markus - I wanted to give you an update on the pups (Belle & Tank) we got from you from the JoJo & Gunner litter in 2010. We just got back from a Hun & Sharptail trip to Montana. What great dogs! Fantastic noses, beautiful, stylish points and the female pup especially is a fantastic natural backer. It's a beautiful site to see a Pointer on point with two Pointers backing him! We decided to wait to start NSTRA competition until they are 3 due to seeing so many pups self destruct when started too soon. So spring 2013 we'll be trialing Belle at least. I can't wait! Tank may take a little longer- not due to lack of talent but he has such amazing bird drive that control can sometimes be challenging. He may need a little growing up. we were at a NSTRA National this month and met some Arizona people that said they knew you, and what great guy you are. They said they are trying to get a NSTRA trial in Las Cruces. If they do, we'll be there! |

Markus, after looking around for someone I would feel confident in training and caring for my Lab Ellie which is a big part of our family here at home I knew after talking to you and meeting you and your family that Wrangler Kennels was what I was looking for. Ellie would get more than the training I was looking for and caring for her like as she was part of your family. The kennels you have are very clean and dogs that you care for look happy and well cared for. I really appreciate all the pictures you send of training and updates of her progress. I am happy to be included in her training so when we get her home I can continue to reinforce what we have learned. I am excited to go hunting with her and have a well behaved dog in our family and Awesome hunting partner by our side. Thanks again Markus |

We recently dropped off Jake, our 5 month old GSP at Wrangler Kennels for puppy and bird dog training. It was a pleasure to meet Markus and his family. After visiting and touring the kennels and talking with Markus and his family, we felt 100% confident leaving Jake in their care. The facility was clean and the dogs were all happy and healthy. In the first week, we were already receiving pictures of Jake on point and updates on his progress. We are looking forward to living and hunting with a well-trained hunting buddy. Our thanks to Markus for all of his hard work! |

I am fortunate to have found Markus and Wrangler Kennels to train my Brittany. I have hunted Briley on a very limited basis, but could see that she needed some additional training. Briley has only been with Markus for two weeks, but I have seen amazing progress. I also appreciate that Markus allows the owners to train with the dogs so we can continue the training when they come home. |

Markus, Thanks for the opportunity to meet and spend time with you and your wonderful family. I purchased a puppy (Eli) out of the Gunner/Copper litter born in April, 2011. I also have a deposit down on the Gunner/JoJo breeding due in July, 2012. While visiting Wrangler Kennels, I got to help with a training session for Eli. I also got to hunt behind Gunner, Copper, Dillon and JoJo. These dogs are athletic and intelligent. They slam their birds on point, back and retrieve. Eli did great during the session and I really appreciated your patience with him. Your whole operation is very clean and well organized. I just wanted to thank you and tell you that it's a pleasure to do business with an honest kennel. |

I have a male pup, Tex, 13 months old, from the HTA/JoJo litter, and he is proving to be everything Markus has forecast for that litter. At about 50 pounds and turbo charged, he is pointing birds at 60 yards, retrieving and backing. Markus has a great breeding program, and is producing great puppies for the serious bird hunter. |

Markus, quick update on Buster – Gunner/Secret pup. He’s 8 months old now; he’s done a real good job on Pheasants and is turning into a real good Chukar dog. Last week we had 3 broke dogs and Buster out Chukar hunting it was a long hard day in the canyons, Buster found and pointed a covey by himself again. He has made a couple of outstanding retrieves on Chukars, one was over the rise of a hill after a wounded one and he made a retrieve off the edge of the canyon for a dead one, I sure was glad he did that because I was beat and my knees and hips were killing me. He pointed and retrieved my limit of Pheasants by himself two weeks ago and he’s not the least bit afraid of a wounded Rooster. He’s not been to a bird farm yet these have all been earned the hard way. He hasn’t developed the patience to watch a bird walk around in front of him yet but he’ll learn on them Chukars. He’s even honored another dogs point on his own a few times, I’ll work on that next year if he doesn't learn it on his own before this years over. Remember, this is all coming from an 8 month old pup! You know I've got a grown Pointer female and a grown Setter male and I think the world of them but I honestly think Buster is going to be that special dog I've been craving and waiting for since having to put my lab down. Thanks again for this wonderful dog! |

I am co-owner, along with Markus, of Wrangler's Secret Fantasy (Fanny). This female out of Gunner/Secret is by far the smartest dog I have ever owned. Watching her mature at each and every training session is almost mesmerizing. I have the opportunity to help out with the weekend training sessions that Markus provides and it is so fun and so neat to watch how each dog progresses week to week. Markus does an outstanding job and dedicates tons of time and effort to ensure that each and every dog gets the best training session possible. We started Fanny just a few weeks ago ,and she is making so much progress I think I'll be hunting behind her by late November - early December. If you are looking for a Kennel that not only produces great dogs, but also provides great training, you've found the one-stop-shop. Markus takes everything about his Kennel very seriously and I commend him for all that he does. Below is a link to a pic of Fanny. http://www.wranglerkennels.com/PhotoVie |

Markus, Thanks so much for the excellent job training my Small Munsterlander "Darby". She came home in excellent shape after your roading program and has an incredible WHOA on her now. I tookn her to the NAVHDA hunting trials this fall and she was the highest scoring puppy in the natural ablilty tests. I couldn't recommend anyone higher for true quality professional training in our state. Thanks so much! Congratulations on your kennel expansion. You run a superior kennel and I feel as a veterinarian I am qualified to say so. |
